For those of you coming to APA, bring those jackets and sweaters! After a nearly record cold average temp for July--we were colder than ever since 1933 and only .5 degree warmer than the overall record of recorded temps.
August is shaping up as more of the same. Highs in the upper 60's along the coast--where the convention is being held. Today is forecast for another new record low high temperature. yesterday was a respite, we were only 6 degrees below average. No beach weather but if you get the sunny window between morning coastal clouds burning off around 1 pm and before the evening fog rolls in around 4, you might get some good sun to lay out at the pool. Too cold for ocean swimming. Water temps have been in the upper 60's, low 70's as well. BRRRRR. No beach weather for me this summer :( :( :( Annette Annette Kujawski Taylor, Ph. D.
