FAREED ZAKARIA Fareed is the host of GPS on CNN.A few years ago fe was awarded a Hubert Humphrey Freedom award by the ADL.However he returned the award because he did not feel that the ADL which has been on the forefront of fighing discrimination and all types of racism and defending the first amendment rights like the freedom of religion should have vehemently opposed the building of a mosque near ground zero. The lesson from this is clear: if we fight discrimination,let us not be discriminators.Sort of like the pilgrims who came to America to escape religious persecution and guess what they did after they got here?
