Subject: New Swedish mammogram study

I don't think that the Scandinavians have ever seen a longitudinal study that
they did not like.In fact Scandinavia abounds with all types of longitudinal
studies. They seem to follow people around and keep
good records. The mammogram study just released is a case in point.
Contrary to the U.S idea that women should wait after age 50 to get regular
mammograms, the study released by a Swedish medical team
concludes that women should begin testing much earlier and check every two
years. The Swedish study found a statistically significant
decrease in cancer rates when compared to the "wait after 50" U.S
model.
As the cross-cultural dude on Tips,I urge caution about this.Scandinavian women
take better care of their health
than their U.S counterpart,re nutrition and exercise.Besides they are the
happiest people in the world.
