I don't think that a bunch of "elite" psychology professors leaping to the defense of Jon Stewart is going to much impress Mr. Sanchez, or those who might take him seriously.
What strikes me is Sanchez's dismissive reaction to the idea that Jews constitute (have constituted?) an oppressed minority. It is true that Jon Stewart's father was a physics professor. It is also true that his parents divorced when he was 11 years old and that he no longer speaks to his father. I have no idea what his upbringing was like after the divorce, but I'm guessing it wasn't exactly cushy. In any case, I find Stewart much more entertaining.
