While in grad school at Mizzou in the mid 1970s,there was a professor who was undergoing a sex change from a he to a she. His wife also taught at the university and they continued the marriage. He still continued teaching while undergoing the metamorphosis. He had the whole works done: the breast and the artificial vagina. One semester he was a he,and the following semesters he was a she. I guess students had to learn to adjust to that change. Mizzou took no action against him/her. It would be interesting to know what faculty restroom this person would use-the mens' or the women? Comments from tipsters invited re integration,assimilation,separation,marginalization posed by this gender paradigm
