Wow, I was trying to get that post in before a class so made a number of blatant mistakes--cited an article that had a clear bias only because it was easily accessible (sorry); referred to Harlow and Bowlby as friends when I knew better that they were likely simply colleagues; quoted the cited article commentary about the cruelty of Suomi's research when I am actually very aware of the value of what he and his colleagues are contributing to the nature-nurture debate and have my students even read summaries of some of his research. I went for speed of response versus providing a more thoughtful and accurate post and apologize for that.
