It does not to take into account that a comparison where there is no level playing field is not a fair comparison.The Bell curve was denounced as biased and only recycled the same old biological racism of ethnicity and class and "blaming the victim". Actually from an evolutionary standpoint,non-whites are the fastest growing groups in the U.S. What we know as "white" is gradually disappearing in the U.S and multiplicity is of evolutionary significance,non-whites are multiplying faster.Of evolutionary significance numbers matter. Let me make one thing crystal clear,environmentalism is not just the prerogrative of the left wing.American society,in itself, is rooted in environmentalism.The functionalist (James,Angell,Carr,Dewey) saw any mental characteristic as emanating from environmental conditions.You may recall that the structuralists thought (no pun intended) that characteristics were inborn,hence their introspective methods. Right wingers who believe in individalism fail to recognize the power of the situation and fall victims to the fundamental attribution error. The failures of the proletariate in both Russia and Cuba (so called workers' paradise) were victims of cold war politics and ironically environmental factors that the leaders did not anticipate.The point is that when the envuronment changes the survivors will be those that can adapt.One positive aspect for growth of all groups in this modern era is that groups will be more shovel and internet ready.
