There was a a Czizler who conducted research at the salt mines in Utah.His
conclusion was that because of the 25 hour cycle shift work would be best if
workers worked one shift for two weeks or more and then rotate clockwise to
the following shift for another two weeks.He also postulated that this
explains why people may sleep longer on weekends when they do not have to
work.He believed that the arrangement of shift work in our modernised
industrial age is responsible for sleepiness on the job because it is not
congruent with the 25 hour day.
Because time perception may vary according to cultures and since in the
Americas
"tomorrow" may not mean the next day,it is possible that the circadian
paradigmm
may be restricted. I have a Colombian friend-when he tell me tomorrow-he
means
any time within the next two weeks.
