If George Lucas says so, I believe it. Or, more accurately, if Seth Rogen says George Lucas says so (and I hope neither was high at the time), I believe it. It's being reported in many places but when I want end of the world news there's only one source for me: The New York Daily News! See: http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2011/01/19/2011-01-19_george_lucas_fears_world_will_end_in_2012_seth_rogen.html
As the article reports, Lucas is not the only one to believe that it's hasta la vista, baby next year: Ashton Kutcher also thinks so, which is why he keeps in such physically fine shape (in order to do what he can when the time comes and not for beating off the hotties -- wait that didn't come out right). Then again, Lucas might be pulling Rogen's leg and just was testing his credulousness, as suggested by Wired.com: http://www.wired.com/underwire/2011/01/george-lucas-2012/ Then again again, maybe Lucas and Steven Spielberg don't want people trying to get onto their space ship when they take off before the impending apocalypse. The rumor is Chris Rock is a lock but there's some uncertainty about Natalie Portman, especially after that "Black Swan" stuff. -Mike Palij New York University [email protected] --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [email protected].
