I had never noticed this facet of these businesses before. The company, Paper
Masters, is a division of e World Publishing. E World Publishing touts that it
provides "professional freelance paper writing services." I guess it isn't
really news, or particularly noteworthy, that there are companies that
specialize in providing writing services for other companies. That would be, at
least on the surface, not too different than hiring a freelance accountant or
engineer. If you lack the in-house expertise, hire it!

So, from e World Publishing's perspective, selling writing services to students
is not meaningfully different from selling it to a company. But, it also
ensures that the development of skills by college students is reduced
marginally, meaning greater need for their service in the future. Strategic
added value...

It's interesting how the ad makes a veiled attempt to come across as a
legitimate service by including the following toward the end of the clip:

"Remember it isn't easy choosing a topic so let us help you get on your way to
getting the grades you want and rising above your papers in originality, depth
of understanding and academic excellence".

Oh, the irony ...

Found this video this morning on YouTube about a service that will write a
student's research paper for them.  I think it's telling that the narrator
reads everything that is also written on the screen.  I guess such services
aren't afraid to be out in the open:
