Hi Karl- I was always happy to review papers before submission. I would review for style, grammatical errors and ensure that there were no problems with plagiarism. I offered this service to all of my students at the start of the semester and again before papers were due. The majority of my Intro students did not take advantage of this, but the majority of my research methods students did. I saw this as a great way to interactively teach how to write a good paper. Most of the students who took advantage of it found it to be beneficial. It entails a bit of work, but I think the end result is worth it.
