I heard an interview with the author of the study (Leu) on CNN this morning. His conclusion was that we need to instill a hefty sense of skepticism in kids, not necessarily that they are more vulnerable to internet hoaxes, they just haven't had enough experience to be dubious.
It's my belief (and it IS just a belief), that YouTube is public domain.
