Please let me know if you intend to cover any aspect of the contribution of Africans and African-Americans to Psychological science in your courses during this Black History Month. As I stated in a previous post,effective 2012 I will be asking all the major accreditation agencies and associations to require Psychology departments to include some degree of coverage of the contributions to Psychological Science from the Afro-centric perspective knowledge bases as a condition for affirmation and re-affirmation of Psychology departments and programs.
