Tipsters, does anybody know why the DSM uses capital letters when referring to
a mental disorder in the text (e.g., Mood Disorders instead of mood disorders)?

As this is not the case in the ICD-10, how widely are the capital letters used?
I would also like to hear from international colleagues whether they also use
capital letters when translating into their own languages. I know that in some
languages (e.g., German) capital letters are used in the case of a noun, but in
other languages it is regarded as wrong.

Thanks.
