Have a good weekend. The request follows. Shannon Gadbois Letter of Consent Dear Professor, My name is Benjamin Lockhart and I am a Bachelor of Science (Honours) student at Brandon University. I am conducting a study on the handling of minimal risk research by ethics review boards as well as the views of social and behavioural sciences researchers towards this process. As a part of my honours program I am completing a paper on how minimal risk research is handled and how this handling is viewed in the research community. My specific interest is in surveying the attitudes of researchers towards the oversight of minimal risk research and whether or not the current process is viewed as necessary. I estimate that the survey will take an individual approximately 20 minutes to complete, responses provided will be kept strictly confidential. The results will take the form of aggregate data only. The results of this study will be used for completion of my honours thesis and may form the basis of a manuscript. Should you have any questions/concerns about this project or the methods used?
