I questioned at first the inclusion of paranormal psychology in the guide. But
note that this link appears in a section of the Guide called "Popular
Psychology" - and not under the "Academic Psychology" and "Professional
Psychology" sections. Also, when you follow the link to paranormal, there's a
number of links that expose students to how "paranormal" phenomenon have been
(and need to be) subjected to rigorous examination.

Also, note that there are 5 pages devoted to Research Methods and Statistics,
which cover a good deal of information on how to conduct a psychological study
(IV's, DV's, various research designs, and their confounds, etc.). There are
also links to the Students Guide to APA psychology, which shows students how to
write papers in APA format.

That said, I know that both David and myself are very open to how this Guide
can be improved with links to helpful sites for students as well as topics that
should be covered or covered in more depth. Please feel free to email me with
any links you feel are essential for psych students to be aware of.
