If there is one psychological theory that is fundamentally Eurocentric it must be Piaget's. Piaget's ideas do not hold in African and Afro-centric cultures.A major difference is that of malleability and fluidity experienced within the Afro-centric paradigm in contrast to the rigidity and rationalistic bend of white kids and their Eurocentric derivatives.Take for example, the idea of the principle of conservation which Piaget believes is age-dependent: African kids ,however, do not have this problem because they are participatory observers in molding clay and other objects in all types of shapes and sizes.
