The NY Times has an article about a chess playing program that the International Computer Gaming Association has determined has computer code that was plagiarized from two other chess programs. The author of the program in question, an international master chess player, has been banned from entering programs in future competitions and titles won by his program have been removed. Just another example of plagiarism and the consequences it may spawn.
