One of the statistics that came out as a result of the great NYC blackout was that there was an increase in births the nine months following.However I am not sure if the same stats would hold for the post-storm and post-hurricane period.Whereas blackouts would appear to be more conducive to sexual behavior,I would not expect the same for storms and hurricanes,where people would be more interested in being riders of the storm than riding the-------------------
