Mike. When I was at Mizzou in the mid 70s one of my advisors was Don Kausler
who wrote a book titled Psychology of Verbal Learning and Memory.Kausler
knew all those Verbal learning folks like Tulving,Soslo and so on.Maybe if
you check out his book,he may have the references you are looking for.Just a
thought.

Subject: [tips] Need Help In Identifying A Book
I need some assistance in identifying a book published sometime
around 1980-1990 (I think). I thought that it was Endel Tulving's
"The Elements of Episodic Memory" but the copy that the library
has shows that it's not what I had in mind.
The book I'm looking for is somewhat unique relative to psychology
books: the author wanted to present a scientific psychological
view and a more mundane presentation that didn't follow the rules
one would use in writing professionally. He accomplished this
by using two different fonts: for the scientific presentation he
used something like Times Roman and for the informal presentation
he used a san serif font like Helvetica or Arial. I have a high
degree of confidence that it was something that Tulving wrote
and that his Elements was it. Alas, the Elements was not it which
calls into question whether the book was written by Tulving.
So, does anyone remember a book from the point in time that
used to different type font to represent the "two voices", presumably
in the memory area? Any pointers would be appreciated since this
thing has become an itch I can't scratch. TIA.
