Wow. How long did this one take you to make? This would have taken me HOURS and I'm not at all convinced that students will LEARN better :(
But it is impressive. Unfortunately this is an EXTREMELY minor part of anything that I teach, so it's not very useful for me. I'd like to see some on more salient things like obedience or conformity. InfoGraphics are really not a new idea - just the act of translating data into an appealing visual, but infographics have become all the rage in the "twitterverse". I based this infographic on two pieces of very interesting research: Dunn, E. W., Gilbert D. T., & Wilson T. D. (2011). If money doesn't make you happy then you probably aren't spending it right.. Happy to get your feedback on this graphic. To create it I used a vector drawing program called LineForm (Mac only), along with some clipart and a little Photoshop hackery.
