Figure 2.1 (the sample paper; p 41 ff) has "Running Head:" on every page. The APA website shows a different sample paper.
But! I just realized I have the first printing of the manual, which was filled with errors. I wonder if that sample paper might be an error. I just checked the errata list, and sure enough, it doesn't belong there.
