Maureen Down, in her NY Times column, points out that Anne Frank,
of "Autobiography of Anne Frank" fame, was "retrospectively
baptized" as a convert to Mormonism.  I was unfamiliar with this
practice.  More can be found here:

Do we now have to legally state that after we die, we do not
want to "converted" into a new/old/whatever religion?

I am quite happy as a confirmed New Yorker. ;-)
