Dade county school adminisistrators are thinking of abolishing mids and finals from 6th to 12th grade.Some think it is a good idea ,others think not.The abolitionists think it will alleviate stress and anxiety in students' lives.Those who are for keeping mids and finals think that those exams are preludes to the challenges of preparing for college. I personally think that all mids and finals should also be abolished in college-there are no mids and finals in the world of work. I am curious though.with the expanding waisline of Americans, if abolishing mids and finals would have some impact on the obesity rate. Btw,is it true that obese co-eds get higher grades than say the Baywatch types?
