Is it still settled principle that storage in long-term memory is of a sensory
characteristic? For examples: the tip-of-the -tongue phenomenon supposedly is
evidence that some storage is of acoustical nature however the deja vu
experience always seem to be of visual inplications. The other sensory
modalities must be unique in that they do not seem to be subject to recall
error except in aging where taste and smell could be confusing.
In a theoretical state of mind.
