It was written by a group of researchers, journal editors and NGO Presidents, myself included, as we approach World Health Day (April 7) and was published yesterday in The Lancet where it will gain worldwide attention. Please note a decision has been taken that from this year on, posters will only say June 15 -- with no year. That way you can use them from year to year and it will make life easier for our volunteer webmaster, Susan Somers, who is currently working very hard with our UN team and international NGO partners on activities towards establishing a UN convention on the rights of older persons.
