I hope everyone will find this relevant: Stuart Ritchie and colleagues 
replicated study 9 of Bem's research on "retroactive influence".  Between 
Ritchie and myself I think we explain the potentially confusing research design 
Bem used, and Ritchie explains how he and his colleagues tried to carefully 
reproduce the study (with, of course, null results).  Interesting comments on 
why the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology didn't publish his 
replication as well as his thoughts on the "file drawer" problem, type 1 and 2 
errors, etc.
