A colleague has asked me about "pay to publish" journals in Psychology.
He has a paper accepted at Psychology Research David Publishing Company http://www.davidpublishing.com They want $50 a page to publish the article. I know that this is becoming increasingly common in some fields, but I would like your opinion on this type of journal in Psychology. We do have pressure to publish at our institution (Though not as much as research focused institutions) and he works in a relatively obscure area. Suzi S.
