Well, as a non-psychologist, after reading and thinking about Skinner's TECHNOLOGY OF TEACHING, and listening to so many people talk about "Skinnerism," I think Skinner is like the Bible. You selectively use, misuse, and/or abuse bits and pieces, in the spirit of Clayton Christensen's "sustaining innovation," that are emotionally satisfying and which are reinforcing that which you're already doing, and ignore the rest.
