Well, as a non-psychologist, after reading and thinking about Skinner's
TECHNOLOGY OF TEACHING, and listening to so many people talk about
"Skinnerism," I think Skinner is like the Bible. You selectively use, misuse,
and/or abuse bits and pieces, in the spirit of Clayton Christensen's
"sustaining innovation," that are emotionally satisfying and which are
reinforcing that which you're already doing, and ignore the rest.

And, when some people hear of Skinner, they think of a backwoods huntsman. :-))

Make it a good day

If Julie Vargas was seething, it must have been very quietly (not her style).
And all in all, I'd say that Skinner's reputation has held up better than
Spock's.
These days, if you say 'Spock' to someone they'll think of Star Trek.

True, but if you say "Skinner" in the humanities, they'll think you mean
Quentin.
