Since people post virtually everything on Facebook,it is not surprising that cries for help will also be posted.As in the KG case some readers responded and others ignored the pleas .In a recent case in Central Florida a woman who was being tortured by her boyfriend was able to post for help on Facebook. A person who read the post-took it seriously- and called the police.No virtual bystander apathy here.The witness was not from New York.
