Okay, I know that there is a general disarray in the area of personality theory ranging from views that aspects of personality are strongly determined by genetic factors to personality being purely a function of environmental factors to theories that posit a gene-environment interaction as well as other factors (e.g., poor potty training) and this raises a number of issues about how best to measure personality characteristics. But maybe the field has achieved a real breakthrough with a new research study. A popular media presentation of the research is available here: http://www.medicaldaily.com/news/20120612/10266/shoes-personality-traits-characteristics.htm While the original research article can be accessed here: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0092656612000608
My only question is "What if the person is barefoot?" Such weighty theoretical, scientific questions. ** Insert Manolo Blahnik joke here** -Mike Palij New York University [email protected] P.S. I wonder if the researchers wear clown shoes? --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [email protected].
