Remember Amy Bishop? The neuroscientist/biologist at the University of Alabama at Huntsville who, after learning she had been denied tenure, shot up her colleagues. Six were hit and three died of their wounds. She had pleaded guilty but under Alabama law still had to have a jury trial.
