I have a simple question: Why do Republicans want to kill Big Bird from
Sesame Street so badly?

Romney says he likes Big Bird but implied that maybe he would like
Big Bird better served up as a Chik-f'll-a sandwich.

Ryan is more straightforward, he just wants to kill Big Bird even though
he likes Big Bird. He's tried to kill him the past and will try to kill him
in the future. He took seemed to imply that he might prefer Big Bird
as a Chik-fil-a sandwich. But don't take my word for it, take his:

NOTE: Big Bird is a "he", right? Or is he like Bert and Ernie,
that is, it's a puppet hence gender neutral (which is supposed
to stop questions about Bert and Ernie's living arrangement --
which always made me wonder about Abbott & Costello as well
as the Three Stooges). ;-)

As psychologists, I think we should be concerned with these signs
of attempted birdicide, especially the significance of Sesame Street
for psychology. A search of Dissertations Abstracts turns up **1276**
dissertations on Sesame Street (or at least containing the phrase
Sesame Street). Stop and consider how much more work dissertation
advisers would have had to do in coming up with research topics if not
for Sesame Street! ;-)
