I have low spatial abilities, so I've spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure this out. Now, if I was laying on the ground face up, with the top of my head pointed towards the tree, would I have been able to read this? If true, perhaps it was meant to be read by intoxicated Arizonans in the northern parts of the Valley of the Sun.
