Hi, Jim.

The implications of not being able to calculate a response rate are, of course,
severe, which I had communicated to my student and he understands. We had hoped
to be able to use one of several closed lists (Inbar & Lammers used Division
8's listserv), which would allow the rate to be calculated, but that did not
materialize. We are exceedingly grateful that the Tipsters are stepping up.

If the data from this initial study look interesting, I think one option would
be to make a random selection of psychology departments and email to the
chairs. Do you think that would work? Suggestions are more than welcome!

Best regards,
Laura
