Neuropsychologists and many others who use IQ tests every day recognized that the tests were measuring a variety of independent cognitive abilities. The average performance did not capture the lost and retained abilities of people who sustain brain illness and injuries. Unfortunately, the largely meaningless summary scores are still reified. http://www.learnpsychology.com/papers/general/Lezak_IQ_RIP.pdf Mike Williams --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [email protected].
