I tried to get some of our psych courses listed as linked "natural science" courses, but was rejected. I asked my colleagues, "Do you not think that human behavior is part of the natural world?" and received a resounding "no." I was flabbergasted...
OTOH, on the way in to work I was listening to a story on NPR about happiness in parents v. non-parents, and the reporters referred to "scientists" doing research on it. So, who knows?
