Just as there was a parting between Neal Miller and Leo DiCara,
it would seem that there was some kind of split between Wolpe and Lazarus re
Systematic Desentitization.If I recall correctly,the
original text was co-authored by Lazarus and Wolpe,then subsequent editions
were authored by Wolpe only.Wolpe originated from South Africa.He was of Jewish
origin and I think
he collaborated with Lazarus at Temple U.If you know what happened between
those two,let me know.
