Eyeball? Apparently it is the latest world wide craze, so don't
be surprised if students start showing up with eye patches because
the practice is associated with spread of eye infections such as
pink eye (make sure you avoid the Worchester sauce) and eye
chlamydia (you never know what has been in someone's mouth).
But don't take my word for it, see what the Time website has
to say:
http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/06/14/eyeball-licking-fetish-isnt-just-disgusting-it-spreads-pink-eye-too/

And key an eye out for the Guardian's coverage of this:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/shortcuts/2013/jun/14/eyeball-licking-fetish-japanese-teenagers-sick

Props to the Guardian for working in an "Un Chien Andalou"
reference into its story. ;-)

P.S. Listen, it could be worse: it could be an eyeball eating craze; see:

Can you make it to the Paul Rozin comment? ;-)
