Recently, the Consortium for the Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education (CAUSE) came out with a call for proposals for the second biennial Electronic Conference on Teaching Statistics. I believe this conference may be of interest to many of those who subscribe to this list, and we hope you will spread the word and consider submitting poster proposals or break-out session proposals. The conference will be entirely online the week of May 19, 2014. Proposals are being accepted now through February 14, 2014, and the themes for this conference include (1) Teaching with Big Data, (2) The Impact of the Common Core, and (3) Bridging the Disciplines. For more details on these themes and the specific structure of the conference (including where to submit proposals), please visit: https://www.causeweb.org/ecots/.
