Hi Everyone, I teach an Intermediate Statistics course, and one thing I like to do is to share real data with my students. We often engage in activities in class that involve collecting data directly from students, but I also try to include actual journal articles as readings in the course (articles where students can see the actual use of the statistical techniques they are learning about), and, if possible, I like to share actual data from these published studies with my students as part of class activities. Often, for instance, I might ask the students to attempt to analyze the data and then compare the results they get to what is presented in the article.
Over the years, I've found articles here and there that I like, and in some cases, the authors of those articles have shared data files with me. I would like to compile a larger number of possible examples to use in my class, however, and this is why I am posting to the list. If you have published an article where data was analyze using a one- or two-way between-subjects ANOVA, multiple regression, or logistic regression, and if you would be willing to provide me with a citation for the article and a .csv or .txt copy of the data set, can you let me know? I can compile a list of what I get and share it back with the entire list if that is okay with those who are able to share resources. I completely understand if this is not possible, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask. The course in question is taught through the Department of Educational Psychology, so examples that relate specifically to eduction or psychology would be most helpful.
