I live in Orion, Illinois, which is due east of Milan and north of Rio, none of which are pronounced correctly. Orion used to be pronounced correctly since it was named for the constellation, but over the years the residents changed it (it was Deanington before it became Orion). I guess Midwesterners like to put the accent on the first syllable no matter what. Carol
