In the past I've wished Merry Christmas to those who follow
the Julian calendar instead of the contemporary Gregorian
calendar.  January 7 is celebrated as Christmas day in the
Orthodox Christian religions (Ukrainian Catholics used to
follow the same custom up to a few decades ago) except
for the Armenian Orthodox who celebrate Christmas on
January 6.  Looking at news articles tonight, it appears that
recognition of Orthodox Christmas is most taking place in
the Canadian press, such as:
