Nick Nolte was born in 1941 and he remembers the food scarcity of WWII? He would have been four years old when it ended. And he shoveled coal into the furnace at night to keep the house warm? At four years old?? I have a granddaughter who is four, and trust me, she isn't going to remember specifics of lard distribution and would never be capable of shoveling coal into a furnace.
