Under the heading, "IQ is a Myth: Intelligence Has at Least Three Components",
the
PsyBlog<http://www.spring.org.uk/2015/12/iq-is-a-myth-intelligence-has-at-least-three-components.php>
blogger, Dr. Jeremy Dean, summarizes recent research by saying, "People's
thinking skills could not be successfully described with one number, the
researchers<http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0896627312005843>
found. Instead they found at least three components of intelligence:
? Short-term memory.
? Reasoning.
? Verbal ability."

No kidding. It's almost as if it was the first time this has been studied in
the history of psychology.
