Mike, I knew I could count on you, and yes, I read your message in its entirety. :) Why I lumped all of that together is that it is all lumped together in the unit we are on. I talked about each separately, but since my students tend to be math phobes, I wanted to not only convey how each procedure is carried out, but really wanted some mundane examples in addition to practical.
