The NY Times has a long obituary on the death of the man who murdered Kitty Genovese and allegedly at least two other women (he was not tried for them). It provides useful historical details about the event and the killer's background as well as his subsequent activity in prison (including one escape from prison during which he held hostages and raped a woman). Since it's an obit, there is no comment section but I have a feeling that if there were one, there would be comments especially from some in the psychological community. -Mike Palij New York University [email protected] --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [email protected].
