Remember back in October, 2013 when Allen Esterson (where
is he these days?) posted links on sources that questioned the
validity of Barbara Fredrickson and Marcial Losada's "Positivity
Ratio"?  There was a link to an article in the Chronicle of Heigher
Education as well as links to the paper on Arxiv that criticized the ratio by the trio of Nick Brown, Alan Sokal and Harris Friedman.

I bring this issue up now because I have come across an article
that appeared later that the Chronicle article (published in October
2013) which goes into more detail about the background shenanigans especially with the APA in getting the comment by
Brown et al published in the "American Psychologist".  See:
