Galotti has been around a long time. I found it good and at an appropriate level for an intro to cognitive course. Not sure what is the latest edition, as I haven't taught cognitive for a few years.

In the past I have used Matlin's and Reed's texts and so I would appreciate recommendations for texts of similar structure/level. Thanks.
