So as an alternative, someone told me that I can hook it to my LAN and it would get it's updates over the internet. I bought a USB to Ethernet adapter and went into the menu to configure it to use the LAN, but I don't see anywhere in the setup to configure it to use tcp/ip or see anything relating to LAN setup. The guy said " It won't show up in the menu until you plug into the LAN" - That didn't work. So, do I have a box that just doesn't support this? I don't know how to identify the model - help.
